Hello! I am a front and back end web developer and designer currently residing in beautiful Denver, Colorado. I specialize in creating cleanly coded, usable web experiences

Things I love

My interests are vast and diverse; I have a love for all things musical for all things fantastical and for all things historical. I’m completely in love with Dexter, my Akita/Border Collie mix; Hercules, my Turkish Angora cat; and Sheebah, my Bombay cat (yep, that’s her name!) I’m also in love with industrial rock, scary movies, fantasy novels and of course creating extraordinary user experiences on the web.

Background

I’ve been working with the web for over a decade and began designing and developing websites professionally in 2004. In 2007 I returned to school to expand on my knowledge-base and today, I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Information Systems from Regis University in Colorado with a specialization in Enterprise and Web Application Development. In 2010, I graduated Summa Cum Laude and was the winner of the Spring 2010 Lady Ada Lovelace Award from Regis University for excellence in Computer Science.

Skills & Tools

My toolbox includes the Adobe Creative Suite, the Microsoft Expression Studio, Visual Studio along with tools like Zencart, Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress and more. Because I am interested in both the artistic and technical aspects of the web, I also do markup, scripting and coding in a few languages including HTML, CSS, PHP, C# and JQuery.
